Hand Painted Dungeon Concept Final

So this is about as far as this piece will go, I used some old assets to fill up the scene and I might tweak a few things here and there with the walls, floor, pillar, and door to make them a portfolio piece.  This images main purpose it to demonstrate a look/style for a project I have in mind.  I think it turned out nicely.

Oh, also slight gradient added to the shot in photoshop.  Next project of mine will be going into unity and I'm hoping to start that here in the next few weeks.

Hand Painted Dungeon

  I had a chance to get a bit more work done on this hand painted dungeon stuff.  Right now I'm thinking the floor is tiling too much and the wood needs some nice shadowing baked into it's textures.  I think I've got an idea on how I can do this and still keep it a tillable material. 

   Next thing I'm going to wrap up is the door, then the bricks for around the door, and after that some small props then it's engine time!

New Hand Painted Sample Work

I know I've been slowing down  on updating stuff, I've been pretty busy with summer coming up.  IJust working on some nice hand painted assets.  Not sure what I'll use this for.  Inspired by Diablo 3!  Can't wait to play it!

I'm also going to update by portfolio with what I currently have for the warehouse and add some of the Warhammer 40k tower renders.  I might get to it this weekend.

Random Sketches and What Not!

So I've been trying to get better at drawing. Here are some of the things I've worked on the last few weeks on and off.  Just getting back from PAX it's been hard to get back into the groove of things, hopefully next week I can get back to work on some nice game related stuff.

I've also been messing around with the Skyrim Creation Kit a bit, I'm hoping to do some work in there.  I might make a dungeon or something along those lines.

Daily Sketches, March 26 - 30

So this week was pretty busy and instead of doing a bunch of 30 min doodles I started this little guy.

I might work on this a bit more next week but not as daily sketches, I'll get back to do those as normal!
